The weather is very hot, but after a week, a strong hurricane hits and damages our ship. The captain suggests going back to repair, but I disagree. Later that evening, another hurricane comes, and the ship stops near a land, but it%u2019s bad for our ship.To stay safe, we use a small boat. We meet big waves and strong winds. A huge wave comes and turns the boat. I go underwater and I try to breathe. I shout, %u201cAre you OK? Where are you?%u201d But nobody answers. I am alone. I swim and swim. Fortunately, I see a little beach between rocks, and a big wave helps me get there.I%u2019m on the sand and I feel okay, but my arms and legs are tired, and I fall down. Later, I stand up and search for the other men. Unfortunately, I only see three hats and two shoes on the beach. It%u2019s a really sad time because all my friends are not here.The weather is still not good, but the waves are small. I see the ship, but it%u2019s far from the land. I don%u2019t have anything with me. I find a small knife in my pocket. I wonder how I can survive. As the night comes, I%u2019m scared of animals, so I decide to sleep in a big tree.The next morning, the sea is quiet, and I can still see the ship. I swim to it, use a rope to get on, and see that there%u2019s nobody there. Thankfully, I find some dry food. I also hear sounds. It%u2019s just a dog, the captain%u2019s dog. Now, I have a buddy.To take the food, and the dog back to the beach, I need a raft. Since there%u2019s no small boat on the ship, I gather wood and make a raft. While looking for clothes, I find a nice carpet, four guns, and a box of gunpowder.Soon, I reach the beach and look for a place to stay. I find a hill and climb to the top. I see the sea all around. I realize I%u2019m on an island. I see two small islands to the north and west. But I don%u2019t see anything to the east, only the ocean. No people are on the island, just wild animals.
